It’s Friday! I’m so happy to end this week. We have a fairly low-key weekend planned, my highlight being driving high school kids on Sunday, which means a day in downtown la! Or rather Hollywood area. I plan to hit all my favorite secondhand spots, and see some friends.

Today I’m embracing this beautiful sunshine:

Jacket: Kate Spade
Blouse: Kohls
Belt: thrifted
Skirt: Vintage
Shoes: Christian Louboutin

I have been hunting for this jacket for ages!!! I jumped on the Kate Spade clothing bandwagon a little late, and so I’m always on the hunt for pieces from the early days of her clothing line. I snagged this for a killer price, it still had the tags on it! (And it’s authentic) I love how it’s so bright, and the compliments today, wow. To think I almost didn’t wear it, considering a plain cream cardigan instead!

I think I need to wear more of my structured jackets more, I own several really timeless pieces! I just tend to get stuck in the “throw on a cardigan” rut. Of course now I feel I need to find it in green, another colour they made this in! But for now, baring any fabulous finds this Sunday, I really need to scale back and start shopping my closet for a bit. Easier said than done!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

Until next time,

Trending: Grey Christian Louboutin Simple Heels

Yes, I fear I have been rather Unimaginative this past week when it comes to my shoe choices! But alas, when a shoe is so comfortable you can run all day and not have aching feet that night?

Well, let’s just say I know what is on my 2014 wish lists!!!!

Anyway, a recap of the past week (ish) and poor shoe choices:

Last Friday:

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Blouse: Banana Republic
Skirt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Kate Spade (which are sadly too big and have found a new home with a friend of mine)

Church on Sunday saw this sunny ensemble:

Cardigan: American Eagle (Thrifted)
Skirt: Escada (Thrifted)
Shoes: Christian Loubouton Simples
Handbag: Coach

I believe this was Monday:

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Blouse: Banana Republic
Skirt: Shabby Apple
Belt & Necklace: Kate Spade
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Simples

*I neglected to snap a photo on Tuesday of my entire outfit, however, a shoe shot from a costco trip:

Yup, same shoes!!!!

Wednesday saw me in pants and a polka dot sweater, and black flats, alas, no photograph. Between fighting allergies, searching for new glasses (as I broke mine last week, and am frantically searching for an equally cute AND practical replacement pair) and making pies, well, I scrambled into PJ’s before any photographic evidence could be made.

I did however snap some rather lackluster photos last night of what I wore yesterday:

Cardigan: Ann Taylor
Dress: Kate Spade
Belt: The Cute and Sparkly Wife
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Simples

And lastly, today, proof that out of the last 6 days I have worn the same shoes 5 times. But I LOVE them!!! (I also appear to have a slight obsession with navy and yellow right now!)

Cardigan: American Eagle
Blouse: unknown, silk (eBay)
Skirt: Anthropologie (but secondhand from Its A Wrap in Hollywood)
Belt: Vintage (.50 @ a thrift shop)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Simples

I also have an obsession with pie right now, specifically Raspberry!!

And rainy overcast weather:

Hope you have wonderful weekend!!

Until next time,

Soooo, my afternoon and about 2 hours this evening I’ve been working on these: (total about 3.5 hours so far. This is going to be a 30-40 hour project I think)

They are a birthday present for the lady I work for. She is so fabulous that she needs them. Seriously.

In other news, my crazy outfit today:

Cardigan: Kohls (Chaps is the brand)
Blouse: Banana Republic
Skirt: It’s a Wrap , it is a custom piece made for some TV or something. I forgot to check the code!
Belt: Thrifted, $2.99
Stockings: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Handbag: Kate Spade Maryann
Jewelry: Omega Watch, Gold chain (from the craft store, it was under $5), diamond bracelet & various rings I wear

I’m feeling a touch under the weather, had a crazy day yesterday and our weather is just so hot/cold, that I feel rather peaked. Hence my reason for bright clothing today!

Tomorrow is Friday! *twirls* any big weekend plans? We need to finish up the dreaded taxes. And handle the 15 bags of cans and bottles the require a massive trip to the recycling place! Luckily the kids seem to have all their semester projects behind with spring break only 3 weeks away. All those projects, it’s crazy!!! Thank goodness we are a crafty/DIY group over here.

Until next time,

Giveaway Update

Well, looks like as of RIGHT NOW, I have 80 entries. 20 shy of 100.

However, I will keep it open until Midnight, PST (my time), and IF there are 20 more entires by then (from commenting, liking, re-blogging, sharing on facebook, emailing me), I will add in a really adorable pair of kitten-heel Kate Spade yellow & white sz39 pointy-toe shoes. (they fit like a true 9, hence why they are in my go bye-bye pile)

NOW, if you win, and you are not a sz39 in Kate Spade shoes, I have some other Kate Spade items that I will let you choose from that are in the “bye bye” or “ebay” pile. And then perhaps I’ll put the shoes up as a blog sale post (something I am seriously considering doing. I really dislike selling on ebay!!) along with some other Kate Spade items. (eeks! hard to part with!! But I am trying to make an attempt to streamline my clothing addiction)

20 more entries!

Until next time,
