Thats been my week. “Oh My!”.

  2. Skirt: secondhand vintage
  3. Belt: Kate Spade
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  5. Handbag: Kate Spade

Wednesday:

  1. Dress: Hobbs
  2. Belt:  Unknown (secondhand find)
  3. Shoes: Jimmy Choo
  4. Necklace: Banana Republic
  5. Handbag: Kate Spade

Today:

  1. Dress: Alannah Hill
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Yesterday was my daughter’s birthday:

And today I had to go to LA, so we did our yearly track to American Girl for our mother-daughter birthday lunch:

We visited Kate Spade in Pasadena,

(hello fall 2015!!! I left it behind, it’s adorable, but I have my eye on some pieces later in the year!)

And Sugarfina in Beverly Hills AND Pasadena:

The Pasadena store is such a hidden treasure! I love that it’s tucked away, and also right by Kate Spade!!

I got into some trouble later….I am really REALLY loving SJP shoes! So well made and the arch is PERFECT for my bony bumpy ex-ice skaters feet!

Le sigh. Yes they came home. Under $60, who could say no?! Quick, someone take away my Visa card!

The Paper Bag Princess….my favorite find of the day. Right at Robertson & Olympic in Los Angeles, it’s a unique collection is amazing treasures! The hats! The jewels! The vintage couture Chanel! It’s my new “must see” recommendation for a trip to LA! The costume jewels alone, wowzers! It’s such a gorgeously curated collection too. I did not take any photos, merely enjoyed the beauty of the treasures. Their website for more information.

Until next time,

Jules

Spots!

Not only are their spots on my dress, I have been struggling with a horrid migraine since yesterday, resulting in seeing spots. But I still hauled myself up this morning and made an attempt at pulling it together (hey, yall can’t see my hair!!):

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Jimmy Choo Light Siam Strass

Yesterday I was in Hollywood all day, and while I didn’t get a full outfit shot, here’s my feet (and I wore a green cardigan):

I also hit the Century City Kate Spade store, and tried on a couple of the new spring dresses:

I fell in LOVE with with the green striped dress. It fits true to size (I tried on a 0, and it was large in the waist), but raising both arms was VERY difficult. But when I went to take it off?! IT WAS A WAR!!!! The dress has a side zipper, and with those sleeves, forget it. This is one that will not be added to my collection. However, the floral one? I was in LOVE. And then realized NO POCKETS! Super bummer!! I tried it in my normal dress size, 00, and it fit beautifully. However I will wait for it to go on major sale, due to lack of pockets. The spring accessories are simply adorable, as are the character handbags. I have to say though, I am not as excited about spring 2015 as I was for spring 2014, which I am sure my husband is thrilled about!

However, I did not walk out empty handed from Sugarfina:

I love that store. It’s like a grown up magic candy store!!! It is a MUST VISIT for anyone coming out to Los Angeles. Put it on your list! Champagne Bears & Peach Bellini Hearts are just divine!!

Until next time,

Jules

Week in Review

It’s been a wild week! It seems everytime my kiddos go on break and end up with my parents, I end up being busier than normal. Still trying to figure that one out!

Anyway, I have a few outfit snaps from this past week, although I’ve been repeating a lot of outfits merely for convenience.

Like this, I wore my Hattie dress twice this past week (same shoes & cardigan both times. So original I know!)

Yesterday I wore a new dress I picked up at Nordstrom Rack Thursday, I went a size up, because the length was 2″ longer. So it has more of a boho vibe I suppose. So cute, and I love that it has pockets!!
