It’s cold out! It actually snowed yesterday (didn’t stick though), and it was so overcast, I didn’t snap an outfit photo before I left. And when I got home yesterday, I was so cold I put my pjs back on and climbed back into bed!
But here’s what I wore:
Cardigan: Target, $10 on sale 6+ years ago (it’s 100% cashmere)
Skirt: Escada, thrifted
Shoes: Strassed Christian Louboutin flats. (Sadly the paint is peeling, this is just a pair that is going to give me fits!!)
I also wore this jewelry:
Watch: Vintage Omega Seamaster (I bought this as an engagement present for my husband. Since then I picked him up a vintage Rolex he wears daily, and have swiped this one for moi. It’s perfect for my achy arthritic wrists. Not too heavy, no metal band, and I love the big face!)
Earrings: vintage diamond drops, off eBay
Necklace: vintage, was my great-grandmothers. It’s signed “Bogoff”
Ring: yellow & white diamond “flower”. I picked this up several years ago, trading in an unwanted piece. It’s very unique, and I adore it!
And this afternoon after another lazy day (hey, it’s cold, an my arthritis is giving me a rough time. Plus I have 3 more days before I really have to work this year and the kids go back to school), I had to run some errands. Here’s my “it’s cold, okay, I’ll concede and wear pants”:
Blouse & Cardigan (not shown): Target
Pants: Banana Republic
Scarf: Carnival Cruise ship $10 store
Jacket: Kate Spade Tulip Coat
Handbag: Kate Spade Crossbody
Gloves: Kate Spade
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
And, I received these beauties in the post today:
I had to go pick them up, and promptly put them on. I received several compliments while running the rest of my errands. Simple 100 patent red! So excited!!! They are a bright red, not the more subdued burgundy red my Jimmy Choo heels are. Frankly, these are more comfortable. Simple 100’s are like butter on my feet. But alas, for now, red and navy will have to do!
And with that, I’m off to finish a few things this evening and go to bed. All this cold weather makes me tired!
Until next time,
