Well, I’m not specifically a loser, but my pumpkin is. This serves as a reminder to NOT have your husband take photographs:
The two on the left is my pumpkin (it also had a 3rd imprint that I didn’t add), and the one on the right is the one voted the “best” in what I feel was a popularity contest.
In a nutshell, I’m a sore loser. However, it’s painful to lose when it’s oh-so-obvious which one is superior AND followed the rules for the contest. Alas. I still had some fun this evening lighting it up:
Perhaps I should enter a proper pumpkin carving contest next year. Although, it’s messy and while I had fun, I must prefer to work with sugar. It’s not a gross slimy sticky!! But hey, for my first ever pumpkin carving, I impressed even myself.
But it totally stinks to lose to a lame pumpkin!! Yes, I’m trashing the winning pumpkin! If it had been amazing, I would be more gracious. But it was rather, well, just ordinary!!!! Curious to see how it does at the next round. (The winner) I am mainly bummed that Yoda will not be viewed by the world other than on here and my Instagram.
Today I wore this:
Cardigan: Ann Taylor
Dress: Kate Spade
Shoes: Kate Spade
Handbag: Kate Spade
And with that I shall curl up with a lovely book:
And nurse my wounded pride. I admit it, I’m a sore loser! I like to win. Okay, LOVE to win! It’s why I’m so good at eBay shopping!
On one last note, it’s November, and I am going to work towards being thankful for things. So today I am thankful that I had the time (and money!) to go get a massage for my aching shoulders and back. My goal is to be thankful for at least one thing a day (which is fairly easy if you think about it!!!!).
Until next time,
