Sunday Musings

As the sun has set on today, on this weekend, a bit of a recap. It’s been insane the past few days, and now that it’s over, I’m exhausted!!

Monday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Milly
  2. Belt: JCrew
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Tuesday I did not snap a photo (whoops), but here’s Wednesday’s ensemble:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Belt: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

And now for my fashion “faux pas” for the week. I wore the same dress both Thursday AND Friday morning. Because of these POCKETS! (I was running around both days doing prep work for a huge church event….those pockets were a lifesaver!)

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Belt: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Jimmy Choo

Friday night was the big event, and while I had a pretty awesome outfit on to match the theme, I did not have the time to stop and snap a photo. I didn’t even get a photo with the speaker at the event! (And I spent a lot of time with her!!) But here’s a few (fuzzy) shots of some of the event….it was a 20’s theme, “Puttin on the Ritz”

Me at about 2pm on Friday…at this point I’d probably put in about 40-50 hours for the whole week (and expected another 12 to go!)

We survived. The event was fantastic, and the speaker really moved me. Shelene Bryan. You. Must. Look. Her. Up. Her Organization is Skip1 and the idea is to “skip” something “extra” and donate that money to help feed a hungry child, build a kitchen, or just bless someone somewhere in the world. She wrote a book too, and I admit I cane him Friday night after cleanup and read the entire book before I went to sleep!!!! I’m very inspired, and being as she is local to me (Within 2 hours anyway), I may just jump in somewhere with them! I’m already planning to skip things. Look her up. She’s just amazing, and she’s just even more amazing in person!

Yesterday I worked on a cake for a birthday party today. Hello Kitty Mermaid:

Isn’t it gorgeous?! I can’t take credit for all the paper craft, just the desserts! Party was a huge success.

And finally, I wore this today:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Belt: secondhand
  3. Shoes: Kate Spade

And yesterday the character bags got a new baby sister:

She just needs a name! I need to rest up a bit from the past week and this weekend before I consider anything. I’m so tired she would end up with a really awful name!! Hope your weekend was fabulous!

Until next time,

Good Friday

Its difficult to believe it’s already Easter weekend this year!! Time just seems to fly more and more as I age.

Let me start today by saying, I am not currently selling any clothing on eBay. There is a seller who continues to use my blog photos for her listings, but she is using these without my permission and against my wishes. (I have made attempts to contact her, but she keeps doing it for whatever reason.) I would hate for someone to purchase an item from her thinking it came from me. Also please realize that any photos posted on my blog (with or without a watermark), Instagram, or other social media, is my property, and using them under the pretense of “I took this photo!” is on the same level as stealing candy from the corner store.

There, now that the unpleasantries are out of the way…what I wore today:

  1. Necklace: Kate Spade (I’m in love)
  2. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  3. Dress: Milly (secondhand on eBay)
  4. Belt: Thrifted
  5. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  6. Handbag: Kate Spade

I love this dress. I know I recently wore it, but there is something about this glorious spring weather that calls for a white eyelet dress!!!

Until next time,

Sunday Recap

To say yesterday was exhausting is a major understatement! We were up super early to run to the car repair shop….one of our cars has been giving us fits, and we want to ensure its in top shape when the oldest starts driving in a couple of months (EEKS!!). I did get dressed, but then we ended up with all kinds of household “to do” lists, and then I never caught up from yesterday OR Friday!

Friday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Adette
  2. Belt: Kate Spade (via Nordstrom)
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

The dress above is a perfect fit, except it started pulling my shoulder strange, and I changed for the afternoon (my ongoing neck/shoulder/lower back problems need to go bye bye!) into this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Gayle (outlet exclusive)
  2. Belt: Bealls of Florida (kids department)
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Yesterday I threw this on (at 5am):

  1. Cardigan: Boden
  2. Dress: BananaRepublic
  3. Belt: eBay
  4. Shoes: Crystal AB strassed Manolos

And today, for church I wore this:

  1. Cardigan: Tracy Reese (5 years old)
  2. Dress: Milly
  3. Belt: JCrew
  4. Shoes: Kate Spade
  5. Necklace: Ben-Amun

Don’t forget, my giveaway ends tonight at midnight PST!!

Until next time,

P.S. Please note that I would appreciate it if you didn’t use my images for your Kate Spade eBay auctions. All my images are taken and owned by me and I do take intellectual copyright laws very seriously. Same goes for Instagram. Plus, it simply isn’t very polite!

On Wednesday We Wear Pink

Pink bow belts!!! The 80-degree weather just continues out here, it’s GORGEOUS!!

Cardigan: Kate Spade
