I haven’t forgotten my blog, it’s just that we are in the middle of some huge life changes, and I have not made blogging a priority over the last month. I do try to keep up on Instagram, some days are better than others!

Some recent outfits:
Went to a film premiere last night in Hollywood, Boo! A Madea Halloween. Which, is HILARIOUS. My husband picked out this dress, it’s a Kay Unger and it has POCKETS:

Best part? It officially opens on my birthday! It’s actually a movie I would let the kids watch, it has a good message.

We have a new friend, Roxy, who is enjoying her happily ever after with Rocky:

I’ve added many dresses over the last month (oops), but I’m not excited about the recent Kate Spade released, which does make my bank account happy. I really need to finish the closet clean out I started, it’s a little out of control in there!

Biggest news is my husband has taken a job in Los Angeles, which means we will be moving there within the next couple of years. I’m still kind of in shock it all went down, it was fast and completely unexpected! He has settled in nicely, and the upheaval we’ve been going through the last few weeks seems to be calming down finally this week. Not sure how I feel yet about being LA bound, but it should be an interesting adventure!

Until next time,

Thursday already?! I fear I have been pre-occupied this week with many things, mostly involving ice packs and not talking (which never seems to work!!). Ugh, why I dislike dental appointments!!!

Some outfits the past few days:

Coat: Banana Republic
Blouse: Banana Republic
Skirt: Ann Taylor (Thrifted)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Necklace: Burlington

Dress: Kate Spade
Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Jacket: Target
Dress: Kay Unger
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Brooch: Vintage

I carved a pumpkin:

And have been baking, running, and living off iced coffee and green smoothies. (Bizarre combination, I know!) Hope your week is going fab! I’m so excited for tomorrow, I love dressing everyone up, and I’ve talked the husband into joining the bandwagon with something super cute!!!

Until next time,

Yay for Monday! I’m quite excited about this week, as I only have my office job, a week off from baking!! While I love baking, I must say I enjoy having some time off, especially as of late I’ve really been working on tons of orders. Not complaining (as my dress collection loves the work!), but I think it contributing to my shoulder/neck problems!!

That said, still had to get up this morning, get ready, and head to the office (I’m currently in a school drop off line, waiting with the car parked, no time like the present to blog!), and make sure my dress is wind-proof!!

Cardigan: Target
Dress: Kay Unger (it’s one piece & the “belt” is part of the dress!)
Shoes: Kate Spade
Handbag: Kate Spade

Hope your Monday is grand!

Until next time,

Oscar Sunday + Giveaway

Wow, it’s been one of those weekends. Lots of things around the house, overcast weather, and afternoon naps! I did however haul myself out of bed for churn this morning, and added some extra bling, tonight being the Oscars and all!

Cardigan: TJMaxx (or Ross? One of those!)
Dress: Kay Unger (gift from a dear friend)
Shoes: Kate Spade
Necklace: Kate Spade

Do you throw an Oscar party? Or attend one? I was invited to a few, but declined. Sunday nights tend to be sacred in my house. Home, in Pj’s, hanging out. (Or in the case of tonight, I have to start on my baking for this week)

And being that it is now MARCH, it’s time for my 2-year blog anniversary giveaway! Some quick rules:

2. Open to: everyone everywhere. However, those outside of the US, please be advised I may substitute prizes due to shilling regulations. It will still be something fabulous!

3. Starts today, March 2, 2014 and ends at Midnight on March 10, 2014. Winners will be announced by March 12, 2014.

4. Prizes: all prizes furnished by me. (Paid for out of my own pocket) There are 3 prize “packages”:

And that readers, is it! Here’s the photos, the last one being Instagram ready!

Good luck!

Until next time,

Can you believe it?! It’s December?! Eeks!!!

It’s been crazy busy with Thanksgiving last week, braving the crazy on Black Friday, and decorating the house. Christmas is my favorite time of year, all the lights, shiny decorations, and wrapping beautiful packages! I much prefer the pretty packages to what is usually inside them, so odd!! I do love gifting others the best.

Anyway, some recaps. First, did you see the Kate Spade surprise sale that ran all weekend? Buy anything good? Today they are running an additional 30% off for Cyber Monday! I don’t have plans to purchase anything else (as tempted as I might be!!!), merely because my early Christmas present is supposed to arrive today and I promised my husband I would be good. I was tempted though!!!

Black Friday, I did go out (had to work, oh being a grown up!!), but other than scanning items for shop kick points (hello freebies!), I didn’t buy anything major. Just some small things for the kids. I did wrap presents!

A few outfits from the past week:

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Dress: Kay Unger
Shoes: Banana Republic (except I painted them and added the bows)

Cardigan: Ross
Blouse: Kohls
Belt: Thrifted
Skirt: Vintage
Shoes: Montana Strass Christian Louboutin

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Dress: Twilight Replica
Shoes: Black Christian Louboutin Simples

What I wore for Thankgiving (we went to a friends house this year!):

Cardigan: Target
Dress: Kate Spade
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Jimmy Choo (Strassed by me)
Necklace: Vintage, Thrifted

I also got new sunglasses last week:

Baked lots of pies and French Macarons:

Decorated the house:

And finally picked out new couches, which should arrive today or tomorrow. Super excited!!!! My office has been in shambles for months, it’s slowly coming back together. I really dislike furniture shopping!

Happy Monday! Don’t spend too much, all those online specials can be super tempting!

Also preparing a fun little holiday giveaway, stay tuned!

Until next time,
