Wait, it’s November? And we have a time change coming? *head spins* How is this possible?! This year has FLOWN by! There is a silver lining this weekend….additional 30% off sale items at Kate Spade!

I am trying to not look (it’s very hard). I really don’t need another dress. In fact, I should probably continue to clear my closet out.

Some recent outfits….I’ve been settling into the “new normal”, and combined with the insane hot/cold/hot/cold weather patterns which flares up my health challenges (ugh), but still make an attempt to dress every day!

Some photos of the new holiday items at the outlets:

The pink polka dot bags are not real leather, but they sure are cute! I did pick up a penguin, I mean, with my collection of creatures I HAD too. He’s super cute! I haven’t made it into specialty, but there is some super cute pieces online. I’m not excited about the apparel (which my closet is probably excited about!), but they nailed it on keychains and glitter this year.

Until next time,

An Update of Sorts

Oh boy y’all, it’s been INSANE! Like “I want to crawl into a hole at the end of each day” insane. Lots of French Macarons, and lots of trips to LA for Dancing with the Stars, plus some amazing shopping trips, add in having 4 kids, and voila! By the end of the day I am just DONE. But here’s a few of my favorite outfits from the last few weeks (and maybe a fun backstage moment from Dancing with the Stars!):

  1. Dress: Prada, under $50 at Last Call (wait, WHAT?! I know right?! Our Last Call is INSANE right now! Price tag had $2065 on it!!)

Those are my favorite looks from the last couple of weeks. I still can’t get over the Prada dress find….I know it’s just a simple pink sundress, but I LOVE IT. It was really windy yesterday and it held up pretty well, I didn’t flash anyone!

On a Kate Spade note, new arrivals at the outlets:  (photos were sent to me…I went up to our local one last night but didn’t buy anything)

And flamingo keychains are back! (So don’t get duped on eBay y’all!!!)

And I did French Macarons & Salted Chocolate Chip cookies for the Houston Flagship store….to celebrate the launch of their April collection:

Did you attend Emily’s tea party? Sadly I was in Vegas for a business conference, but I was totally there in spirit! I also ordered a pile of stuff during friends and family weekend…which I shall have to debut at some point.

Until next time,

Woah, wait, how is it Wednesday already?! I admit this week has been a blur so far, mainly work related. I actually FEEL like it should be Friday!!!

Some outfit recaps (starting with today)

  1. Cardigan: Barney’s
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

  1. Sweater: Banana Republic Outlet
  2. Skirt: Kate Spade (an older sample piece)
  3. Shoes: SJP

Monday it was wretched weather…hail, 30-40mph winds, rain, and so it required pants:

Everything is Kate Spade…a mixture of outlet and regular (the shoes! Oh the shoes!!!),  my favorite is those shoes! And they’re quite comfortable!

Over the weekend I ended up repeating some recent outfits due to weather and I was tired. Nothing thrilling!

Until next time,

Oh Friday how I love thee! I actually had today “off” in a way, my only task today was to deliver French Macarons to my local Kate Spade outlet for their one year anniversary! Which means if you live near Barstow, Ca or are driving to Vegas this weekend…stop between 11am-3pm for “sips and snacks”! Which includes my Strawberry & Raspberry-Pomegranate French Macarons:

Oh and buy a dress…look at these killer prices:

Unsure if all outlets are offering the special pricing on apparel this weekend, I do recommend calling before going! I don’t know why everyone keeps saying Kate Spade is having less sales, I feel like they have had more really good sales so far in 2016 than they did at this point in 2015! Online, all sale items are an additional 25% off. I know, someone please confiscate my Visa card.

My attire today:

  1. Blouse: Kohls (Elle brand)
  2. Skirt: Kate Spade Madison Avenue
  3. Shoes: Kate Spade
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade
  5. Necklace: Kate Spade

Also the Banana Republic outlets has their men’s luxe v-neck sweaters for $15. I know it’s not really sweater weather here in Southern California, but supposedly a storm is coming through this weekend!

Until next time,

Super Bowl Sunday

Ahhhhhh, my title is very misleading! Why? Because I didn’t watch the big game this year. We actually don’t have proper television (I refuse to chop holes in my house for Verizon), and declined the invites we received due to potential other commitments.

However, I DID score some major deals at the outlets this weekend…which are running through Presidents Day! So get yourself to a Kate Spade outlet, where the entire store is 60% off, with handbags and additional 20% on top of it. My local store had some new transfers from Specialty, and I marked a couple of things off my wish list. However, the majority of my purchases were gifts or for others. But still, GO, provided it doesn’t put you into debt or cut into your grocery bill! They do this sale every year this time of year, and it’s always phenomnal! Also, there’s a surprise sale going on for those of you not near an outlet! Not as good as outlet, but still some serious discounts!

Some attire recaps, starting with today:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade (girls collection)
  2. Dress: Kate Spade (from the first clothing collection)
  3. Belt: handmade by me
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  5. Handbag: Kate Spade

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Kate Spade Deanna
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade

And lastly, Friday….I was home sick on Thursday, and by Friday needed to GET OUT! So I got gussied up and took my husband and afternoon hot cocoa & cookie (I know, I’m so ridiculous!!)

  1. Cardigan: INC
  2. Dress: Kate Spade Hazy Floral
  3. Shoes: Sophia Webster

I hope your weekend was fabulous, your football team won, and your shopping was successful! My poor Visa card needs a break! I think I’m done for a while…I finally snagged the last of the dresses released in 2015 I wanted, and so far in 2016, there hasn’t been anything I HAVE to have.

Until next time,

Loyal Kate Spade Girl

I know it’s obvious I’m a HUGE Kate Spade fanatic. I mean, yeah. But I don’t always discuss WHY. Well, here’s one “why”! Today my husband and I ran out to Palm Springs to drop off 3 of the kiddos (who are quite blessed by my parents taking them on a 5-day cruise!), and OF COURSE it included a stop at both the outlet in Desert Hills AND the regular store down in the El Paseo shopping district.

I found this gem at the outlet (which I hadn’t planned on buying anything, just returning some extra pieces I didn’t need after all)

A balloon keychain/bag charm! The full collection hits on January 7, but there are bits and pieces out at some outlets! The bottom of the “basket” says “Let It Go”. Disney meets Kate Spade?! YES PLEASE! Puffy was thrilled to have a friend today.

But then we hit El Paseo….now I have to admit upfront I didn’t buy much today, as I’m trying to downsize a bit vs buying “everything” (meaning every single dress Kate Spade makes), but I did try some pieces on (no photos…WHOOPS!). No winners, but the experience was AWESOME! I finally saw this guy in person for my phone, and couldn’t resist:

But wait, there’s more! This magic was also in the bag:

And THIS right here is why I am a loyal Kate Spade customer. Goodies from the Sunday morning events in December I couldn’t attend? (Oh why isn’t there a specialty closer to my house?! 70 miles minimum!) A Christmas card AND a cookie from NYE?! YES PLEASE!!!! This just made my night when we got home and I opened it all. I was unable to visit a specialty location before Christmas due to schedule constraints, but the extra goodies in my little shopping bag made me feel like I was there somehow! This is why I love Kate Spade, why I shop there, the level of customer service is just top notch. I’ve only had 1 or 2 not so wonderful experiences, in over 15 years of shopping the brand. In comparison, we walked through Saks Fifth Ave this evening, and my husband remarked that the sales associate who approached us looked relieved when I said I was “just looking”. Ugh. I won’t even discuss the awful Anthropologie experience in the same shopping district! Nope, we will focus on the amazingness that is Kate Spade….THANK YOU El Paseo girls! Y’all have a special place in our hearts, that store is where my husband bought the “dress that started it all”, a black silk/cotton blend Emma dress lined in pink silk. Two years ago to be exact! And from there, I went from a handful of Kate Spade dresses to, ahem, “I refuse to admit publicly how many it really is”.
I wore this today:

  1. Cardigan: Chaps (Kohls, 3-4 years ago)
  2. Dress: Kate Spade (one of the first dresses I ever purchased!)
  3. Belt: Kate Spade
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin, strassed in Montana
  5. Necklace: Kate Spade

I also carried my blue small Rachelle bag. I know the Rachelle style is an outlet-only one, but it really is my favorite handbag! Well, I do adore the Quinn, but they haven’t released the larger Quinn bags in almost 2 years. I have one small Quinn, but it’s just not the same!

Here’s to a wonderful 2016, and here’s to me cutting back on excessive shopping and perhaps taking a proper vacation. Oh heck, I’d rather spend the money on shoes. Oops.

Until next time,

11 Days?!

Two of the newest fit and flare dresses at Specialty Kate Spade stores that are on my “wish list” for the holiday season:

I love them both!! There’s a new polka dot one coming the end of the month as well. The two above both have pockets!

And some of the holiday outlet pieces:

Glitter glitter everywhere!!!!!

I also got a VERY special birthday present from a dear friend who lives overseas….seriously it made my whole WEEK!!! I’ve wanted one of these for AGES!!

Eeks! I know some people are wary of the internet. Of strangers. But seriously, I have met some of the most amazing friends through my blog and Instagram over the last few years! Not to mention the Disney friends I have because of the Internet! I hope everyone is well, and my travel has ended for a bit now, so I’ll be more steady with posting. I do have a pretty fun-filled fall schedule though!!!

Until next time,
