Thursday Dreaming

I love this dress, it makes me feel like I might be on a beach somewhere lovely!

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Belt: Kate Spade
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Tomorrow I will be up in Barstow at the Kate Spade outlet for their one year anniversary! In fact, I am bringing these:

Strawberry and Raspberry-Pomegranite! Mmmmm. Come up, have a French Macaron, and shop!!

Until next time,

50 Shades of Blue

Now let me first say, I am not planning on seeing the 50 shades movie, nor will I, nor do I feel it is a good work of literature. I will read just about anything (I love reading!), but not that!! I am reading a great book right now:

It’s a fascinating fictional account of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife Zelda. I adore historical fiction, and while this is not my normal “century”, I have enjoyed it!

Anyway, off books and on to clothing. Today ended up being a 2-outfit day, due to the wind deciding to start blowing sometime between 8:15am and 9:30am while I was at the chiropractor. So I changed my dress for one more wind-proof, but left everything else the same!

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dresses: 1st: Kate Spade Mariella Dress (re-released at the outlet shops this week!); 2nd: Kate Spade Elza Dress. Both are from the Capri collection in 2014
  3. Belt: Kate Spade (outlet, spring ’14)
  4. Shoes: Jimmy Choo, strassed
  5. Handbag: Kate Spadr Rachelle, with a lemon bag charm

And with that, I’m off to enjoy my Friday afternoon. I have the afternoon “off”, which translates into about 2 hours of quiet time in which I will veg out on my couch and listen to the wind howl, while feeling guilty I’m not cleaning the house. It’s hard to let go, but I realize the house does not have to be perfect 24/7!

Until next time,

Giveaway Winner!

Oh my goodness, I haven’t had time to sit down much this week, but I did pick a winner!!

I’ve been heads down in the kitchen:

Sunday we did make it to church, I wore this:

Cardigan: JCrew Kids
Dress: Kate Spade
Shoes: Kate Spade

Yesterday, I had dreams of Capri, as we enjoyed 80-degree weather:

Cardigan: JCrew Kids (I love this cardigan!)
Dress: Kate Spade Elza Dress
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Handbag: Kate Spade (killer Nordstrom rack find!)

And today, (well more like yesterday as its past midnight now!) yes, I baked in this, isn’t that what an apron is for?!:

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Dress: Kate Spade (it’s like a reddish-pink hue. I didn’t like it at first, but I love it now!)
Belt: Kate Spade
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Handbag: Kate Spade

Did you buy anything from the surprise sale? I picked up a few things, but I am disappointed that the dresses I want have not only not gone on sale, they have disappeared off Kate Spade completely! I’m not sure what’s going on over there, but I’m slightly disappointed with this season’s offerings. Hopefully as 2015 progresses the line will go back to what I love about it.

And if not? Well, I don’t need another dress anyway!

Until next time,

Endless Summer

Seriously, it’s about 80 degrees out this evening! Crazy crazy weather!!!

Yesterday I wore this:

Cardigan: Target
Dress: Kate Spade Elza Dress
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Handbag: Kate Spade
Necklace: Kohls

Today I wore this:

Cardigan: Ralph Lauren
Dress: Kate Spade (recent eBay steal!)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Handbag: Kate Spade
Necklace: Target

I also made these for a baby shower this afternoon:

Aren’t they the cutest?! She had originally ordered a cake, but I’m so happy that the order was changed, these are SO MUCH CUTER!!! All the little pieces are made from sugar. I was sad to leave them behind!!

Hope your weekend is going well! I still can’t believe this insanely beautiful weather we are having!!!! Endless Summer!

Until next time,

Mid-week Madness

Yes. This week is MADNESS!

What I wore today:

Jacket: Kate Spade Valerie Jacket
Dress: Kate Spade Elza Dress (outlet find during the F&F sale, under $100! So glad I waited for this one!!)
Shoes: Montana Strassed Christian Louboutins
Handbag: Kate Spade (I’ve had this 2 or 3 years)

I got to ride this, which was AWESOME!

It’s the Rapid Strike Simulator the Air Force uses as a recruiting tool. They came to my kids’ school!

So as I was baking anyway, when I went back up to pick my older two kiddos this afternoon, I took the team these:

I live about 2.7 miles from the school, let me tell you, those babies were still WARM when I passed them out! I love that my baking business allows me to do fun blessing moments like that!

My mommy bought me this for my birthday:

Squee!!! Now what to make first?! I’m thinking chicken & dumplings this weekend?

Have a wonderful rest of the week!

Until next time,
