First Monday of 2016

Woah, back to “normal” today! (Okay, kids don’t go back to school for a week, and 3 are gone…but you know!) My Christmas decor is still up, so I’m in denial about the holidays being over for just a few more days!

My attire today:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Skirt: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade

I’ve been go so far this year and have avoided most of the online sales. I am going to attempt to purchase less clothing this year, so far I have been good! Handbags and accessories….well, I’m working on it.

 Until next time,

Today I had major clothing anxiety. As in, MAJOR CLOTHING ANXIETY! I had picked this out, but my feet are swollen and so the shoes didn’t work (stupid arthritis!):

  1. Cardigan & Skirt: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

So then I put this on (it was supposed to be windy today)

  1. Cardigan & Skirt: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

By this point I felt like goldilocks….the shoes were NOT WORKING! So I ended up in this…a good old standby:

  1.  Dress, Cardigan & Bag: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

However I managed to spill coffee on myself, followed by macaron batter (yes I bake in my clothes…and sometimes I remember to wear an apron!), and so I changed AGAIN to go to bible study tonight:

  1. Cardigan, Skirt & Bag: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Okay, so maybe I just wanted to whip out that pretty new blue bag I caved and bought this morning at the outlet. Hey, it’s cross country season and this bag is school spirit wear! (Orange and Blue!!)

Oh and I made tons of these…and will be back at it tomorrow morning (along with a few dozen sugar roses!) as I booked another order for this weekend tonight:

I am officially a French Macaron factory. Yum yum! I was good and didn’t eat them either. We shall see how long that lasts.

Until next time,

Polka dots that is!!

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Hobbs
  3. Belt: Thrifted
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  5. Necklace: vintage, thrift store find
  6. Bracelet: Ben Amun

It’s been one of those weeks. I have NOT been making my bed…because at some point each day I crawl back INTO it. What’s the point, right?! I know, such a bad example when I make my kids make their beds. I’m still sore and achy, so it’s just “ugh”.

I hope you all have wonderful weekend plans! I have lots of baking to do, we are taking the kids out to a fancy dinner on Sunday to celebrate 5 years as a “family” (I know it’s my husband and I who got married, but the kids always say “when WE all got married”, or something along those lines! We felt we should celebrate this milestone as a family, and take a couple trip later in the year when I’m not feeling miserable AND when I don’t have a million things on the books!!), and normal “we have 4 kids and there are 4 days of the school year left” stuff!

Until next time,

Cheers! It’s Friday! I hauled myself up and out the door to run up to the closest Kate Spade outlet for Friends & Family….having realized a couple of weeks ago I actually know one of the Sales Associates!! (And she is awesome….totally awesome.)

My outfit:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Skirt: Claude Brown
  3. Shoes: Kate Spade
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade
  5. Necklace: Kate Spade

Some photos of the new spring items:

And what I purchased:

3 cardigans (what can I say?!), a new iPad case, the coconut coin purse (which the iPad case the the coin purse were my ONLY planned purchases. OOPS!!), a necklace, a sparkly wristlet, and a small cross body, that I’m not sure if I’m keeping. Kind of a long story there!

Anyway…I have been good and I did NOT buy a dress, as I made a pact with someone to go 7 days without buying a dress. Just have to get through tomorrow at midnight!! I haven’t shopped online, I think there is one more necklace I may pick up. But I’m trying to be good. Sigh.

My coin and clutch collection is shaping up quite nicely:

I know, I know. It’s a terrible addiction yall!!! Oh well. I didn’t go into debt and I didn’t break any laws!!

Hope your weekend is wonderful! I’m putting together a pretty fun little cake for a party tomorrow, so it’s gonna be a long night!

Until next time,

Easter Eve

Today was spent prepping for tomorrow…baskets for the kids, and even stuffing eggs! This year I added some cold hard cash to the eggs:

My daughter is going to be soooo excited about her lemon bag! (Side note, I still have a handful left if you want one…it fits some basic necessities, phone, some money, lipstick)

My outfit today:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Camisole: Natori (thrifted)
  3. Skirt: INC (Thrifted)
  4. Shoes: Max Studio (thrifted)

Until next time,

Good Friday

Its difficult to believe it’s already Easter weekend this year!! Time just seems to fly more and more as I age.

Let me start today by saying, I am not currently selling any clothing on eBay. There is a seller who continues to use my blog photos for her listings, but she is using these without my permission and against my wishes. (I have made attempts to contact her, but she keeps doing it for whatever reason.) I would hate for someone to purchase an item from her thinking it came from me. Also please realize that any photos posted on my blog (with or without a watermark), Instagram, or other social media, is my property, and using them under the pretense of “I took this photo!” is on the same level as stealing candy from the corner store.

There, now that the unpleasantries are out of the way…what I wore today:

  1. Necklace: Kate Spade (I’m in love)
  2. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  3. Dress: Milly (secondhand on eBay)
  4. Belt: Thrifted
  5. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  6. Handbag: Kate Spade

I love this dress. I know I recently wore it, but there is something about this glorious spring weather that calls for a white eyelet dress!!!

Until next time,

Oh my goodness, it is solidly spring here! Another 85+ degree day!!! I decided to brighten up the Monday blues with some SERIOUS colour:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Necklace: Target
  4. Shoes: Jonquil Strassed Jimmy Choo flats

I know my giveaway ended last night, but please be patient with me, as I will most likely not announce a winner until Thursday or Friday due to my schedule this week. I have not forgotten!!!

Hope your Monday was as warm and cheery!!

Until next time,
