Week in Review
Well, another week has passed and I realize “omgineedtoblog!!!!”. Whoops! My kids have been off on adventures with their grandparents, and The Engineer and I have been enjoying quiet evenings at home.

Other adventures this week include (but not limited to!)
A trip to Bottega Louie with a friend I hadn’t seen in over 15 years! We had lunch:
Then desserts:
I turned my house into downtown LA:
Okay, so I didn’t truly buy out the fabric district/old costume warehouse or anything. I keep acquiring these things. People call me when they need to unload things. And me, being the secret hoarder that I am, is happy to oblige. On the bright side, I did not buy excess items for my self in LA this past week! In fact, I’ve been quite good lately.
Well, kind of. But it’s still in the mail so I am in denial.
I also made tacos & creme brûlée this past week for dinner/dessert one night while having a Tom Cruise movie marathon night:
And lastly for this post, I made macarons last night, because you know, the pile I bought at Bottega Louie wasn’t enough!
So, happy October! I’m making this whole month a fun celebration in honor of me being an October baby. Of course I already have my present, but I imagine I shall fine something to buy myself for moi. You know, something small, er shoe-ish.
Have a lovely weekend!
Until next time,
Jules
