Weekend in Review + Big Announcement

This past weekend was unique, in that we had only our eldest child with us. Who needs LOTS of hours behind the wheel. So he was the driver and my husband and I inflicted that unique torture only parents can…SHOPPING TORTURE! I remember it as a kid! I think it’s a rite of passage!!

Saturday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade (super old!)
  2. Belt: eBay
  3. Shoes: Nina, painted and Strassed by me
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade

We bought lots, mainly sweaters and polo shirts at the Gap for $1.79 for my husband:

And ties for $1.97 at Banana Republic:

 Sunday I wore this:

  1. Cardigan: Boden
  2. Dress: Kate Spade (outlet exclusive here in the US, available now)
  3. Belt: Kate Spade
  4. Shoes: Kate Spade

I snagged my daughter this at Target for a mere $10 (my husband thought it was Kate Spade!)

And today I wore this:

  1. Cardigan: Boden (same as yesterday)
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade

I also bought wine based on my purse:

Hey, the oldest child went to camp this morning, so I planned a romantic Italian-themed night for dinner! Picnic style! I doubt we will open this bottle, but it seemed like a really fun idea at Costco. Along with everything else I bought that I didn’t need. Don’t. Go. To. Costco. Hungry.

Oh and the crowing moment of my day? I finally got my act together and picked giveaway winners!!! Ta-da!

In order, 1st, 2nd and 3rd: (top to bottom)

BevCruz from Instagram, JeanJu from a blog comment, and ladrini from Instagram. I’m so high tech, this is how it’s done…names written on paper pulled from a Sugarfina candy cube:

Ladies please email me with your address so I can send your prizes!!

Sunday Recap

To say yesterday was exhausting is a major understatement! We were up super early to run to the car repair shop….one of our cars has been giving us fits, and we want to ensure its in top shape when the oldest starts driving in a couple of months (EEKS!!). I did get dressed, but then we ended up with all kinds of household “to do” lists, and then I never caught up from yesterday OR Friday!

Friday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Adette
  2. Belt: Kate Spade (via Nordstrom)
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

The dress above is a perfect fit, except it started pulling my shoulder strange, and I changed for the afternoon (my ongoing neck/shoulder/lower back problems need to go bye bye!) into this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Gayle (outlet exclusive)
  2. Belt: Bealls of Florida (kids department)
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Yesterday I threw this on (at 5am):

  1. Cardigan: Boden
  2. Dress: BananaRepublic
  3. Belt: eBay
  4. Shoes: Crystal AB strassed Manolos

And today, for church I wore this:

  1. Cardigan: Tracy Reese (5 years old)
  2. Dress: Milly
  3. Belt: JCrew
  4. Shoes: Kate Spade
  5. Necklace: Ben-Amun

Don’t forget, my giveaway ends tonight at midnight PST!!

Until next time,

Jules

P.S. Please note that I would appreciate it if you didn’t use my images for your Kate Spade eBay auctions. All my images are taken and owned by me and I do take intellectual copyright laws very seriously. Same goes for Instagram. Plus, it simply isn’t very polite!

Pineapples and PANTS?!

Ah yes, I started my day in pants. Merely because I was cold this morning and knew I was spending the morning catching up wih email and other various computer related “work” (and I still have a huge pile!). So I started the day in this:

  1. Cardigan: Ann Taylor
  2. Top: JCrew
  3. Pants: Banana Republic
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

But I did throw this on to go out with my husband, not that he cares, but it WAS our weekly Costco “date”, so I figured making an attempt at “date attire” was required:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Basic Black

Today was basic black day….well, kind of! This is my “go-to” dress when I just don’t feel all that awesome. It really is easy, and it has pockets! It was warm enough today I didn’t really need a cardigan!

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Hope Dress (Paris collection, 2014)
  2. Belt: It’s a Wrap, no label
  3. Shoes: Jimmy Choo
  4. Handbag: Kate Spade Rachelle

And really? That’s all I have today. Nursing an aching back and trying to catch up on emails and paperwork!

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway here!! Ends on Sunday March 15!

Until next time,

Jules

Florals & Chickens

Today I pulled out a dress I have only worn once before…a sample piece I picked up off The Real Real last year:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade (outlet, under $30)
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Belt: Kate Spade via Nordstrom
  4. Shoes: Christian Louboutin, Strassed by me in Violet crystals
  5. Handbag: Kate Spade Rachelle

And I bought the kids these at Walmart this morning….I couldn’t resist:

They are like stretchy sticky things you flick. The boys LOVE THEM. Okay, and I had fun flicking them as well. Aren’t we all just big kids?!

Monday

Oh Monday, why must you torture me so? Starting out slightly chilly, and ending downright warm! Yikes!!

I started today in this:

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dress: Kate Spade
  3. Belt: Target
  4. Shoes: Kate Spade
  5. Necklace: Target

But I was too warm (as I wore a petticoat with this dress), and ended up in this (white, to cook spaghetti!)

  1. Top: Kohls
  2. Skirt: Kate Spade
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

I also received my first VoxBox from Influenster today! I was chosen to review these products from Dessange:

I am actually excited to try this, as being a bottle blond, it’s always a struggle to keep that brassy toned down! I will keep you posted on how I like them. The shampoo smells lovely! (Hey, isn’t that HALF the battle?!) *disclaimer* I was sent these products complimentary in exchange for an honest review.

And that’s my Monday wrap up. Hope yours was grand! Don’t forget to enter my giveaway here! Ends on Sunday, March 15th!!

Until next time,

Jules

Springing Forward

I am saying it….I really dislike time changes. Throws everything off! However, I will say the weather is SO gorgeous today, I am willing to forgive the lost hour. (As if I had a choice!!) But in all seriousness, yesterday and today has been simply sublime weather!!

Since I didn’t post my outfit yesterday, here it is:

  1. Cardigan: Banana Republic Outlet (purchased this past Friday)
  2. Dress: Kate Spade Sonja Dress (Nordstrom, was not available through Kate Spade. I picked it up for under $100 at the rack earlier this year)
  3. Belt: Ebay
  4. Shoes: Jimmy Choo
  5. Handbag: Kate Spade Rachelle in Ballet Slipper Pink

Today I whipped out another recent dress purchase, this from the big outlet sale a couple of weekends ago. The Citadel store did not have my size, but the lovely ladies at the Gretna, Nebraska store did (along with dresses for friends!) and it was shipped to me wrapped all pretty! I have been eyeing this dress since last spring, never quite pulling the trigger. Glad I waited, as it was well under $100!!

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Gayle Dress (outlet exclusive. Also came in black & cream, which I already own)
  2. Belt: off eBay (search “bow belt”, they are usually under $1 with free shipping)
  3. Shoes: Kate Spade (off fifth purchase, I believe these and the silver ones I have were a Saks Fifth Ave exclusive)

I also carried my pink handbag from yesterday. I loved the pink with the Orange and cream! I had a cardigan for church, but it only lasted while at church…no need for it today!!
