Fashion, Food, Desserts, being a 30-something mom is exciting!

Dots!!!

Today I had major clothing anxiety. As in, MAJOR CLOTHING ANXIETY! I had picked this out, but my feet are swollen and so the shoes didn’t work (stupid arthritis!):

  1. Cardigan & Skirt: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

So then I put this on (it was supposed to be windy today)

  1. Cardigan & Skirt: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

By this point I felt like goldilocks….the shoes were NOT WORKING! So I ended up in this…a good old standby:

  1.  Dress, Cardigan & Bag: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

However I managed to spill coffee on myself, followed by macaron batter (yes I bake in my clothes…and sometimes I remember to wear an apron!), and so I changed AGAIN to go to bible study tonight:

  1. Cardigan, Skirt & Bag: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Okay, so maybe I just wanted to whip out that pretty new blue bag I caved and bought this morning at the outlet. Hey, it’s cross country season and this bag is school spirit wear! (Orange and Blue!!)

Oh and I made tons of these…and will be back at it tomorrow morning (along with a few dozen sugar roses!) as I booked another order for this weekend tonight:

I am officially a French Macaron factory. Yum yum! I was good and didn’t eat them either. We shall see how long that lasts.

Until next time,

Jules

  3. I honestly get outfit anxiety like every other morning. It isn’t because I don’t have anything to wear (which I don’t) it is because I clearly have “too much” but really don’t at all and just have too many options so I can’t pick because I have a nasty habit of wanting to wear something I don’t own when in fact I probably own it in a different colour, material or shape but it is never good enough. I always try and think about my outfit the night before but usually fall asleep to my mind becoming some sort of downward spiral of perfectly perfect yet not good enough outfit ideas. End blab.

On a more exciting note, I totally was reading your blog in the middle of a staff meeting today.

    • Bwahhhhh. I love it! I’m staff meeting diversion!

I have that problem DAILY. I try to decide the night before and then when I wake up I have a total meltdown and put on 17 different things. And then I wish I had just a handful of dresses and clothing and could wear the same hing daily.

And then I will sometimes toss myself on the bed and have a meltdown before putting on what I picked out the night before.

      I. Have. Issues.

      LOL!!!!!!
