Wednesday!

“Wait, what?! This week is half over? Slow down time!!! I’m not ready for the weekend yet.” – said no one ever.

Okay maybe I do feel that way today, merely because I have a huge to-do list before the kids get home on Friday afternoon.

Yesterday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Jillian
  2. Shoes: Kate Spade

And today:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Kimi
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Until next time,

Jules

PS: a quick reminder, I do not use my photos to sell Kate Spade pieces, so if you see my photos on a listing, it’s not me!

Weekend Review

Another weekend for the books! We finished getting the kids all ready for school (only a week late!!! They have clothing now at least), and I did not get my house clean. But I looked cute!

Saturday:

  1. Dress: Trina Turk (from the big store in LA on 3rd. Go visit, it’s gorgeous!)
  2. Shoes: Kate Spade

Sunday, I whipped out this new (to me) Kate Spade number, with one of my favorite necklaces. I had wanted to wear heels, but my neck said “NO!”:

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Jimmy Choo, strassed in Light Siam
  3. Handbag: Kate Spade (old)
  4. Necklace: Kate Spade (this is by far one of the best ever pieces!!)

Eugene met Ladybug (who still needs a proper name), overseen by Battle Toad:

Battle Toad is a favorite with my kids, he watched movies with them Saturday night (I kid you not, they are obsessed with him!!)

I got new bedding (this doesn’t mean I’ll actually make my bed though!!)

And today I am repeating an outfit, because it’s Monday and I’m already over today!

  1.  Dress: Tracy & Michael
  2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Oh and I made Macarons this weekend:

A few came out all wonky.

But most were okay:

Until next time,

Jules

Friday

Oh boy, the first week of school is OVER! I survived! (Barely) I’m just exhausted, but I did make a huge meal tonight along with homemade ice cream.

Yesterday I wore this:

  1. Dress: Lela Rose for Target
  2. Belt: secondhand
  3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

And today….although I spent most of the day asleep! (I guess I was tired, a 4 hour nap and I’m already ready for bed!)

  1. Dress: Kate Spade
  2. Shoes: Adrianna Papell

I love the dress I wore today, it’s perfect for summer, and best of all, it doesn’t hurt. My body is still healing from that accident, and this week has been rough! I found out this morning I had popped my ribs back out somehow (not sure?! I haven’t even been cleaning house…have been leaving it all up to the kids!), which would explain why my clothes have been making me hurt. Sigh. The flats I picked up at Nordstrom rack last week during clear the rack, under $30! (I might have bought my daughter a matching pair!) They had champagne ones too, but I was good and just bought the black.

Have you seen the new Kate Spade arrivals? They were up last night but the email came today. I’m really tempted by the milk carton. I wasn’t excited about the clothes really. But I did get some fun things….the full retail stores are running extra 20% off sale items through Sunday!

And these came from an outlet purchase I made last week (next time I will totally pay the $10 for 2-day shipping! It was agony waiting 9 days for ground shipping!!!)

My kids named the frog “battle frog”, and swear he’s going to shoot poison venom at them in their sleep!!! Ladybug is looking forward to meeting Eugene, he’s already planning the proposal I think.
Have a wonderful weekend! I have French Macarons on my agenda this weekend, along with the piled of laundry from kids back to school AND running cross country after school every day! (All of them. Oh my!)

Until next time,

Jules

Hump Day

I am dragging today! I did pull it together though….even though it was hot as hades today, AND humid!!!

  1. Dress: Kate Spade Eliza Dress (Capri, 2014.)
  2. Shoes: Kate Spade
  3. Handbag: Kate Spade

I do love this dress so much! It wasn’t one I had originally wanted, but I sure am glad I tracked it down (and under $100 too!).

Until next time,

Jules

PS: just a reminder, please don’t use my photos without my permission to sell Kate Spade dresses on various platforms. And also take note that I do not use my blog photos in any listings I may have to sell items. So if you see a photo from my blog on eBay/postmark/etc, it’s not me selling the item! I always recommend when purchasing secondhand making sure the seller has photos of the exact item they are selling!!

    Spots, Spots, Spots I Say!

Hello spots! I pulled out this skirt today that I haven’t worn in ages, a thrift shop find 2 or 3 years ago! No label, someone made it (and it’s so beautifully finished too)

    1. Top: Target, old (2+ years ago! I had it in white too, but I long since ruined it)
    2. Skirt: thrifted, handmade
    3. Shoes: Kate Spade (although I switched to flats later in the day. I just can’t do a whole day in heels yet!)
    4. Necklace: Kate Spade (recent from the outlet)
    5. Handbag: Kate Spade (old, 2-3 years ago? It’s kind of slouchy but has held up well!)

And I spent my day working on costumes and headbands for an upcoming church event. I’ve been putting this off for over a month! Now we are two weeks away from tech rehearsals, I need to get a move on!!!

I’m super excited for this year….our theme is “Puttin’ on the Ritz”, and quite honestly I pulled 90% of the costumes from either my closet or my costume stash, which it’s fun to see things re-purposed. I just love these feathered headbands!

    Until next time,

    Jules

    Monday….oh Monday

It was back to school today! Which meant my alarm went off at 5:30. Well, it was supposed to, I was awake before that. I did manage to pull myself together….but oh man, the first day is always BRUTAL!!! (And let’s face it, I still have whiplash, and am fairly miserable)

    1. Dress: Kate Spade
    2. Belt: thrifted
    3. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Then it just got hotter and hotter today. And I found this adorable silk dress recently, so I threw it on! It seems very vintage-y!

    1. Dress: Goodwill (brand unknown)
    2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Bonus? It matches my bedroom! I love soft blue colors, they are very calming.

    Until next time,

    Jules

    Weekend

    The Last Weekend of Summer.

Is almost over! As the kids sort through school clothing (I know, talk about leaving it to the last minute!), I sit here overseeing the chaos that is the bedrooms of my 4 children. How did we get so much STUFF?! (Oh wait, says she who has more Kate Spade dresses than one human should own!) Alas, it seems as if they need every scrap of paper, bit of ribbon, and rubber bands they can get their hands on. And what is it with boys and marbles?!

Yesterday we went to costco, I wore this, a dress I picked up at Its a Wrap, it fit nearly perfect, although I did make some teeny alterations in the bust area, but for once the waist was perfect!!

    1. Dress: Tracy and Michael
    2. Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Today for church I pulled out another new dress, plus the most recent SJP heels I picked up at Nordstrom Rack last week (her shoes are SO comfortable, the arch it a perfect fit for me, something I struggle with!)

    1. Dress: Maeve, from Anthropologie (under $30 on sale! It also has pockets)
    2. Belt: Ted Baker
    3. Shoes: SJP (Sarah Jessica Parker), under $60
    4. Handbag: Kate Spade
    5. Bracelet: Kate Spade

Hope your weekend was fabulous! Until next time,

    Jules
