Weekend Recap
Oh my, am I ever so happy to see the end of this weekend!! It’s been insane the past few days. However, my wedding season is officially OVER until the fall!
First some recent outfits, then I’ll share some photos from the events I did, and some snaps of Eugene & his antics!
Wednesday I wore this to go to the flower market:
- Cardigan: Kate Spade (outlet Spring 2014)
- Dress: Kate Spade Jillian (old, but they pop up on eBay from time to time. This one was worth every penny! I love it)
- Shoes: Christian Louboutin, strassed in Alexandrite AB by me
Then I changed into this for a wedding rehearsal (hey any excuse to change clothes!!)
- Dress: Theia
- Shoes: Kate Spade
- Necklace: Vintage (was my Nana’s)
Thursday I did not get my outfit before I left, but as I was running around managing a wedding, it was nothing terribly amazing, just a cream lace blouse, black skirt, and black flats.
Friday:
- Cardigan: Kate Spade (outlet style, in fact some outlets still have these on pretty good clearance!)
- Dress: Kate Spade
- Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Saturday:
- Blouse: Banana Republic
- Belt: Old Navy (8-9 years ago)
- Skirt: J Crew
- Shoes: thrifted
And today, first my church outfit, then my costco ensemble:
- Dress: Kate Spade Roset
- Necklace: Kate Spade(spring 2015, from Nordstrom)
- Shoes: Kate Spade (early 2014)
- Blouse: Anthropologie (I picked up secondhand for $1)
- Skirt: Kate Spade (recent eBay find)
- Belt: Kate Spade (Nordstrom)
- Shoes: Christian Louboutin
The wedding I did Thursday, I made the linens, the custom vases, the flowers, the cake, and put the candy bar together:
The venue, The Mitten Building in Redlands, Ca was GORGEOUS. A very easy space to make beautiful. Their staff is brilliant as well. I would highly recommend them to any Southern California bride. I hope to do more events there in the future!!
And then my mom (who also does weddings!) had a small backyard affair today. I made the cake and ended up helping her with the bride’s bouquet last night….I think she hit one of those mental walls!! It turned out lovely:
And tomorrow, back to the grind! Hard to believe we only have 3 weeks left of summer vacation! I’m taking the kids to Disneyland this week to celebrate the 60th anniversary. I am so excited!!
Oh, Eugene! He’s been hanging with some babes:
And oversaw my latest shoe project I finished up tonight:
Jules
PS. Just a small reminder to please not use my photos elsewhere without my permission. Thank you!
I love that Theia dress!! It’s so perfect on you! You are cracking me up with the adventures of Eugene… he’s definitely up to no good with all the babes. Have fun at Disney!! Take pictures!

I swear, your striped black and white shoes are the ones that got away. Every time I see them I love them more- proof that I should just go with my impulses while I shop. The wedding decor looks beautiful. Also, I knew Eugene was a ladies man!
