Fashion, Food, Desserts, being a 30-something mom is exciting!

50 Shades of Blue

Now let me first say, I am not planning on seeing the 50 shades movie, nor will I, nor do I feel it is a good work of literature. I will read just about anything (I love reading!), but not that!! I am reading a great book right now:

It’s a fascinating fictional account of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s wife Zelda. I adore historical fiction, and while this is not my normal “century”, I have enjoyed it!

Anyway, off books and on to clothing. Today ended up being a 2-outfit day, due to the wind deciding to start blowing sometime between 8:15am and 9:30am while I was at the chiropractor. So I changed my dress for one more wind-proof, but left everything else the same!

  1. Cardigan: Kate Spade
  2. Dresses: 1st: Kate Spade Mariella Dress (re-released at the outlet shops this week!); 2nd: Kate Spade Elza Dress. Both are from the Capri collection in 2014
  3. Belt: Kate Spade (outlet, spring ’14)
  4. Shoes: Jimmy Choo, strassed
  5. Handbag: Kate Spadr Rachelle, with a lemon bag charm

And with that, I’m off to enjoy my Friday afternoon. I have the afternoon “off”, which translates into about 2 hours of quiet time in which I will veg out on my couch and listen to the wind howl, while feeling guilty I’m not cleaning the house. It’s hard to let go, but I realize the house does not have to be perfect 24/7!

Until next time,

Jules
