Fashion, Food, Desserts, being a 30-something mom is exciting!

Monday Blues

Oh my, it was a windy blustery day today! In fact, it’s been a windy blustery weekend! Saturday I spent the day in San Diego with the ROTC kids. I didn’t bring anything exciting home, except a blister!

Why a blister? Well, I am breaking in a new pair of ice skates, something considerably harder in my 30’s than in my late teens!!

Two weekends in a row on the ice, which makes me quite happy. I plan on popping down to Palm Springs later this week and intend to skate at least once, if not twice (we shall see how my feet hold out!). I’m starting to feel more balanced on the new skates, and well, it really is an amazing workout!

Anyway. What I wore on Saturday to run around (yup, I totally repeated an outfit this week!!):

And we gave him a pile of movies! We’ve been having an Indiana Jones marathon ever since! Back to the Future is next. Love the classics.

Hope y’all had a wonderful weekend & the dad’s in your life enjoyed their day!

Until next time,

Jules

  1. Your stripes on stripes looks way better than mine!! YAY for skating again this week!!! It’s been so hot and humid here this week, I’m almost jealous of your trip to the dry desert this weekend!!

    • Awe, thanks! I love your stripe on stripe too though!! 🙂

Palm Springs isn’t as dry as I remember as a kid, sadly. BUT, it’s surely not a thing like Dallas!! I miss it SO much, but I do not miss the hot humid summers. Ugh!!!!

It’s been gorgeous here, and I live in a desert! Today it was 81-ish? And it’s already cooled down to the 60’s. I have my windows open and there is a lovely breeze through the house. Craziest weather ever this year!!!!
