Valentine’s week is always insane around here. Lots of cookies, cards, and running around. It’s not as crazy this year, as we only have 3 class parties instead of 4, but still.

Soooo, that said, some outfit recaps!

For now, that is all. I can’t share the fun and silly Valentine’s Day gift I bought my husband today, as who knows if he will read this! Hard enough to keep a surprise!

Do you have big plans this week? We are chaperoning a high school military ball, should be interesting. I just can’t decide what to wear! It’s formal and my husband is wearing his most formal dress uniform from his Navy days. I am most excited about that!

Until next time,

Jules

I LOVE those david’s bridal dresses. i see them all the time thrifting too, but never can find one in MY size. such a good find and i love the pockets too! Man, your macaroons looks soo good. I love them, but have no idea how to bake them. I saw your recipe though.

    • Thank you!!

Macarons are dastardly!!! I had an amazing run this week, no cracked, messed up, etc. For all three batches I made! Personal record!! But it’s taken almost 2 years to get to this point!!! My convection oven makes all the difference.

  2. I like the duo pink and red cookies! I made a batch of Valentine’s sugar cookies, too, with a basketball flair. I dabble here and there and I’m still learning. Feel free to check out my batch. http://thetalkingpencil.com/2014/02/12/basketball-valentines-sugar-cookies-for-him/ …if you’d like. 🙂
