Password Protected Posts “issue”

Okay, I believe I have the “password protected” fixed this time. Posting this as a test for myself.

Let me tell you, me + technology isn’t a good mix at times!!

To my readers, I apologize!

Until next time,

Oh my, how embarrassed am I this morning?! I received an email from a reader, she was inquiring as to why my recent posts have been password protected.

*head smack*

OOPS. Not intentional, I promise! I was playing with settings on my phone this weekend and must have hit a button.

Needless to say, I have rectified the situation. My apologies to my readers!!!

And on that note, my outfit today:

Cardigan: Target
Skirt: Shabby Apple
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Necklace: Target

Today should be fun, I’m currently hanging at the office chilling, then watching a dear friends son this afternoon, and best of all? Today is new garage door day!!! Excited. I just may bake some French macarons too, just because they sound so yummy and I have some buttercream that is begging to be used.

Hope your mid-week is fabulous!

Until next time,

A Very Sheepish Jules

What a crazy few days I have had! Sunday we spent nearly 14 hours at Disneyland, the highlight being an adorable couple dressed in “tiki day” attire, the Flag Retreat ceremony (AMAZING!!), and another trip on the Lily Belle. Some photos:

The baby waited ALL YEAR to ride Indiana Jones! He made the height requirement!!

Haunted Mansion Holiday:

Mickey and the Magical Map (a new show in the Fantasyland Theatre):

Another ride on the Lily Belle, with the Tiki couple:

Court of Angels (becoming the entrance to Club 33 in 2014):

My favorite, Aladdin the Musical:

A lovely night shot of the castle, I am LOVING my new phone!!

I neglected to get a shot of my outfit, but it included sparkly shoes of course!

And then yesterday, back to reality, my year of Disney magic over, it was time to go back to reality (and work!)

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Skirt: Ann Taylor
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Handbag: Kate Spade

And then today:

I started the day with a cardigan on, and changed for my oldest boys’ cross country meet. (Bad shoe choice, I trudged all over the desert in my heels!!!! Lol)

Cardigan: Ross
Blouse: Kate Spade
Belt: Kate Spade
Skirt: Marc Jacobs (Thrifted, $5!!)
Shoes: Strassed Christian Louboutin

And now I’m blogging while I’m supposed to be watching rehearsal for a production! Oops!

Back to work I suppose!

Until next time,

Parade Day

This morning it became official, I am one of those moms. The one who drives teenagers all over town and wait for them to finish their event.

Today it was a local parade, and I also took a spare teen (who has an insane love of history & film, I really do enjoy teenagers!), and well, planted myself at the end of the route to wait them.

Of course I did it in my usual style. I had some strange interactions with other parents, but hey, I’m not giving up my sparkles people!!!

My outfit:

Cardigan: Kate Spade
Skirt: Thrifted
Shoes: Miu Miu
Necklace: Kate Spade + Unknown (thanks mom!)

Of course I left my hat at home (never fear, I needed something to buy anyway!), and have since realized I need a fold up chair for these events.

I’m quite the unprepared ROTC mom! (I don’t say soccer because no one plays soccer, YET.) I even neglected to bring a book! Yet another thing to buy:

Hey, it was on a clearance pile, and surprisingly, quite good so far. I’m halfway through it. I see a new series to read! (I’m a fast reader) I’m normally not one for vampires and such, but it’s very well written.

The ROTC formation:

And lastly, as I posted last night I finally got a new phone yesterday. It’s pretty awesome. I jumped from an iPhone 4 to a 5s, and I am LOVING the photo clarity! The whole camera aspect is just awesome. And Siri. Except today. Siri let me down, as evidenced by this screen shot:

We may have issues. But then again talking computers and I never seem to get along anyway! (I may or may not be prone to scream at my navigation system. It’s possible)

Have a lovely weekend! I’ll be instagramming tomorrow my last Disneyland trip for a while, I am excited to get pictures with the new upgraded phone!

Until next time,

Friday Thankfulness

A little late today, but as it’s been a hectic day, I’m just now sitting down to relax. Figured since I did not take outfit snaps today, I would do a thankful post, inspired by the lovely Adrienne over at

So, what I am thankful for tonight!

1. A new phone. Mine has been terrible, and I’m ashamed to admit that yes, I waited in line this morning for the new iPhone. I love it. The fingerprint scam feature is amazing.

2. My view. I have the privilege to be witness to some amazing sunrises & sunsets! This was the moon out to the east earlier tonight:

3. The adventures I had this past week. Including (but not limited too!), a trip to Disneyland’s Club 33, insane laughs with good friends this afternoon, and the journey we are embarking upon this semester for my bible study.

4. My children. While they often do the craziest things, when I speak with some of the parents of their peers, I am reminded how Awesome They truly are!

So, there you go. Tomorrow my oldest has his first ROTC parade (oh the joys of having a freshman in high school! Human taxi am I), and Sunday we will be spending one last day in Disneyland before our annual passes expire. I’m excited to take pictures/video/panorama with my new phone! The photo features are truly unreal!

Until next time,

Roaring Twenties

So, today I am embracing my inner 20’s girl. You know, I WAS born a century too late, in terms of fashion. Medically and technologically, well, I’m happy with living right now!! And air conditioning!!! Let me just say, how those southern belles survived, I am in awe.

Blouse: Target
Skirt: Alannah Hill
Shoes: Montana Strass Christian Louboutin
Handbag: Kate Spade
Earrings: Target
Necklace: Kate Spade
Headpiece: Vintage (garage sale!!)

My bible study started last Thursday, and we are blessed to hear personal testimony last week and this week. Then we will be digging in to Gideon by Priscilla Shirer. Should be interesting. I’m always excited by a good theological study. But today I was tasked to bring a dessert, so I made some almond-raspberry thumbprint cookies last night:

Mmmm. My car now smells super yummy! What is it about almond-flavoured sweets? They get me every time!

Until next time,

Food Hangover

This morning I feel hung over. A food hangover that is! Alas, work beckons, and I must get my act together this morning.

My outfit:

Blouse: Banana Republic
Skirt: Escada
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Christian Louboutin

Also, what I wore this past Monday:

Dress: Target
Shoes: Jimmy Choo
Handbag: Kate Spade

And for fun, a shot of my Club 33 ears! I’ve spent almost an entire year going to Disneyland, and finally picked up a pair of ears!!

And there you go. Hope you enjoy your “hump day”! I’m hoping to sneak in a nap today.

Until next time,
