Be prepared for a very very long post! All the outfit shots I’ve taken since San Francisco!!
This was an outfit I changed up for an evening meeting (can’t share details yet, but oh wow, I’m super excited!!!), adding sparkles and taking the belt off:
Skirt: Thrifted (possibly homemade)
Belt: Old Navy
Shoes: Christian Louboutin + Strassed Stuart Wietzmans
Necklace: Kate Spade
Channelling my inner “50’s housewife”:
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Decolette
Not seen: Petticoat, Kate Spade
Skirt: Kate Spade
Shoes: Nina Strassed jellies
The Engineer and I are casually house hunting. The market is so crazy right now here in California, it never hurts to be on the lookout. (Not that I want to move, I love my house!!!) I threw this on for our Saturday morning “house-hunting date”:
Top: Sweater from Forever 21 (in fact what I wore when I met The Engineer for the first time!!!)
Skirt: Thrifted, vintage
Shoes: Fuchsia AB strass by Redo My shoe
Annnddddd what I threw on later that day to attend church:
Dress: Lela Rose for Target
Belt: Thrifted (I am realizing I wear this ALL the time!!)
Shoes: Coach (have had these for 5+ years!)
Handbag: Kate Spade
And lastly, yesterday. I’ve been so wrapped up in planning an event this week I have forgotten to snap my outfit daily! Not that I’ve worn anything “wow”, but still!
Blouse: Banana Republic (picked up in NorCal for $4)
Skirt: Vintage, from 55 Thousand Dresses
Shoes: Montana Strass Christian Louboutin
Some other musings from the past couple of weeks.
The Engineer (aka “Headless Husband”) spoke at a memorial service:
I wore feathers in my hair, twice!
Gave myself a pedicure after a brutal day yesterday:
The Engineer broke a mirror (it was an accident….I’m going to repurpose it somehow):
And then bought me “flowers” to say sorry:
I wore a bright Lilly Pulitzer dress:
And made some sparkly things:
Bought little girls’ jellies at Target:
And still haven’t finished these shoes:
With that, it is now 7am, and time to get going. Another crazy day adjusting to school being back in session for the kids and me still playing catch up on work after being gone for a week! I have a serious date with my computer today!
Until next time,
