Fashion, Food, Desserts, being a 30-something mom is exciting!

30 in 30 Challenge

Sooo, many of my Instagram friends are doing this 30 in 30 days challenge, for shoes. While I would love to embrace ALL my shoes like that, the fact is, with my arthritis, I never know what I can shove my feet into on any given day! Not to mention, July is a fairly slow month, and I aspire to not wear shoes on many days.

That said, I am embracing my own 30 in 30 challenge, for skirts/dresses. For the next 30 days I vow to not repeat an outfit. Oh boy, this won’t be easy! But as I counted my skirt collection this morning (over 50, under 150!) and then my dresses, I realized “I need to wear more stuff!!”. So, there you go! My one exception? My tennis clothing and the sole leotard I own to go ice skating (both activities on the schedule this month).

So, today I started in my tennis gear:

And when we didn’t play after all (someone decided to take over all 4 courts for a summer clinic), I came home and changed before we hit the library late this morning:

Top: Kohls (it’s an inky blue tshirt)
Skirt: JCrew
Shoes: Casadei

And now I shall spend the rest of the afternoon with these:

Ahhhhh, summer. It’s hot as blazes out and I’m holed up in my bedroom with the shaded drawn and the ac blasting.

We shall see how I make out on my challenge. I’m hopeless at things like this, but I do usually manage an effort for 10-15 days. Eeks!

Happy July!!

Until next time,

Jules
