Fashion, Food, Desserts, being a 30-something mom is exciting!

Movie Night

Tonight our school is having a mother/son “date night”. Me and my two youngest sons got all dressed up tonight! Of course they have since ditched me for their little friends, so I’m blogging. The sound isn’t that great so I really can’t hear much.

My outfit:

Dress: Hobbs
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Handbag: Kate Spade

My sons had actually requested I wear my red Alannah Hill dress. But it felt sooooo overdressed! They did pick my shoes & bag out. I am thankful for their good taste. I do hope their future wives appreciate the fact that they will know what a red soled shoe is!!

And yesterday I wore this:

Cardigan: Target
Dress: Alannah Hill
Shoes: Strassed Nina Jelly Flats
Handbag: Coach

I got busy yesterday baking another wild theme cake and forgot to post!

Back to movie watching, even though my dates have “ditched” me in favour of their friends I’m enjoying the movie, Wreck-it-Ralph. It’s super cute! I love most Disney moves though (big surprise!!), and this is quite a departure from the normal fairy tale!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Until next time,

  1. The polka-dot outfit is just pefect in every way. I’d love to get some polka-dots into the wardrobe this Spring; I think they have legs as a long-term trend.
