International Women’s Day
Did you realize today is International Women’s Day? I didn’t! I saw someone post the google front page on Instagram. Interesting! Sadly for moi it’s a rainy overcast day, which means I’m not a happy camper! I don’t often touch on my arthritis, mainly because I’m in denial 90% of the time! But day like today, anyone out there with a chronic illness or an auto-immune disorder, you know what I mean when I say rainy days stink! Don’t get me wrong, I love the sound of rain on the roof, the smell that lifts off the dirt of the desert we live in, etc etc. But my joints hate it!!
Anyway, my “I’m bundled up” outfit:
Coat: Kate Spade
Blouse: Ann Taylor
Pants: Kate Spade
Shoes: Christian Louboutin
Handbag: Kate Spade
Scarf: Bijoux Terner (on my first and last Carnival Cruise 3 years ago!!)
Some project pictures, I finished the zebra heels, and they were reunited:
And tonight I’m on a roll (partly why my blog post is so late today!!) with these, for a special young lady to wear to her senior prom. I’m super excited to be doing these for her!! Her story is unreal, but I’ll leave it for another day.
Both shoes are painted, but as with the zebra ones I did this part week, I’m doing one shoe at a time. I’m nearly finished with the first flat! The Husband is reading the Eragon books while I strass this week!
Hope your weekend is fabulous! I can’t believe it’s time to change clocks already! But spring break is two weeks away, so I suppose that’s about right. We have some fun plans for break, I’m excited! My one-year blogging anniversary falls just before, which is perfect! I plan on taking a small break over spring break just because of the planned schedule. But I’m sure I’ll be Instagraming!
Until next time,
