Navy & Yellow

Errand girl today I am! I have several stops, and then a consult with a prospective client. So I needed to be comfortable and professional!

The Rundown;
Dress: Target
Shoes: Navy Christian Louboutin Simple 100
Handbag: Kate Spade Maryann

I’m afraid I don’t have much else to share today, I’m off and running.

Until next time,

It’s Hot. It’s Humid. I’ve Changed Twice

Yes. I have changed twice today. I started the day out in this:

And decided I felt a million years old. And it’s hot and humid.

The Rundown:
Blouse: Nanette Lepore
Skirt: Calvin Klien
Shoes: DIY Strassed Nina Jelly Flats
Handbag: Coach (not pictured)

So after running errands I came home and changed. Into this:

The Rundown:
Blouse: Old Navy
Skirt: Kate Spade Lawson Skirt
Shoes: DIY Strassed Nina Jelly flats
Handbag: Coach

Only problem?

I’m still hot. Ugh. A very good day for OPAC. other peoples air conditioning. Yes, the GOOD OPAC! I know, I’m brilliant, yes? (The Engineer seems to think so, well, sometimes.)

And my shoes. I was bored yesterday late afternoon. House was clean, laundry done, and the kids were in the swimming pool. Which meant they needed an attentive adult.

So I sat on the patio and attended them, while strassing. It took me a total of 3 hours.

And a shot of them with my handbag. The color is quite close!

And for those of you who do not follow me on Instgram, here’s the cake I threw together for my daughters birthday yesterday.

And voila! That’s all for today. I still have loads to do this afternoon, including heading to enjoy OPAC tonight.

Stay cool!

Until next time,

Wow, I realized its been a few days since I wore sparkly shoes. I know, something must be wrong with me!

The Rundown:
Blouse: Kate Spade
Skirt: Katie Skirt by Sandee Royalty
Belt: Thrifted
Shoes: Strassed Jimmy Choo flats
Handbag: Kate Spade

I really think I’m going to do my black flats like these in a dark red. But I don’t believe I shall paint the leather, just leave it black, so they are really a dark dark red, reminiscent of black magic roses!

We shall see. I have some events coming up in August, and tomorrow is my daughters birthday, so the project will have to wait. And I still need to decide what color crystal for the flats I am having done by Redo My Shoe. So many sparkly shoes!! *twirls*

Until next time,

Outfit Repeater

I love this outfit. I wore it Monday (different shoes & handbag). I’m wearing it today. I know, quick, someone call the fashion police!!!

The Rundown:
Blouse: Banana Republic (I need a backup!!)
Skirt: JCrew
Belt: Old Navy (years ago!)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin Ballerina Flats (wait, these are new! More in these below)
Handbag: Coach

Shoes. Remember how I’ve been excited about having Joey over at Redo My Shoe strass a pair of flats? These are the flats. They finally came yesterday after being held up in customs for nearly 3 weeks. I decided since they are brand new, it’s probably good to wear them a few times, break them in. (I should probably consult Joey on this!!) okay, so I got new shoes and I just wanted to wear them!

They are kind of an odd color, sort of a pinky brown. If I didn’t like crystal shoes so much, I might be inclined to keep them as it.

Now to finally decide on a color. I just don’t know! Pink? Purple? *sigh*

What color would you have these done in??

Until next time,

Up and At ’em

About to walk out the door this morning, realizing just how old I have gotten.

I’m sore. Oh my! My poor knee hates me this morning. But, I think it was worth it, because it’s a good sore. A “I’m going to make time to hit an ice rink a few times a month when the kids start school” sore. Maybe between that and actually riding my pink (yes pink!) Schwinn bike, I might get back into shape.

That said, I’m off to get a massage this morning!

The Rundown:
Top: Target, last summer on sale, under $5
Shorts: Kate Spade
Shoes: Black Jimmy Choo flats
Handbag: Coach

Picture of my bag (clutch)

And because I love my massage therapist, I’m taking her this:

A pair of Macarons. Mmmm

Until next time,

Ice Skating

It’s hot today. Not like last week(thank heavens!). So, I’m taking the kids skating. My daughter is wearing my first competition costume. Over two decades ago!!

And me? I’m wearing one of my last costumes. I was 18 when this was made?

Granted I have paired it with black rights (all I had), and I threw a short sleeve sweater over the top. The dress may still fit, but I’m a little old to be showing THAT much skin in public me thinks!!

Sweater: Banana Republic
Dress: Old Skating Costume (this is where my crystal obsession started! I used to bead all my costumes)
Tights: who knows? 10+ years old
Shoes: Strassed Christian Louboutins (of course!!!)

Now to not kill myself.

On another note, I finished the Nine West shoes this morning! I call these “orange dreams”, cause they are getting me out of something I only dreamed I could get out of doing!! ❤ ya Courtney!!

The color is wild, but I kind of like it. I used large crystals on these, ss30, ss34, ss16, and ss12. So they were quick!

Until next time,

Macarons and Crystals

I stayed in today, and baked.

And strassed shoes. I have some very lucky friends writing sparkly gifts!!

First my outfit: (Alannah Hill Dress)

First pair of shoes I finished:

Pair I am nearly done with (one show complete, the other half done)

And my Macarons! Mint, almond, and orange. Mmmm.

And there you go! Tomorrow I’m taking my kids ice skating. I found out today I can still wear my skating dresses from 1996-1997 skating season. Holy cow!! I guess that’s a good thing. Perhaps I shall post pictures. I might be able to wear the right attire, but that doesn’t mean I can skate like I did back then! No more triple jumps, that’s for sure!!! At least now I remember where my live of sparkly things came from!!!

Until next time,
